Transformers Live Action Movie
Shia LaBeouf in Talks for Transformers
Source: Stax March 28, 2006 IGN Filmforce has confirmed a recent rumor that Shia LaBeouf (Constantine, "I, Robot") is in talks to play Sam in Paramount's big screen Transformers adaptation, directed by Michael Bay and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. A casting sheet making the rounds includes a description of the Sam character, as well as the humans in the film: Sam - teenage male, somewhat nerdy, but ultimately heroic. Miguela Barns - teenage female, Sam's love interest. Cpt William Lennicks - 30s male, leader of the military. Maggie - female, really hot, really smart, works as a codebreaker for the government. John Kellar - 50's/60's male, US Secretary of State. Glen Whitman - 20's male, technogeek, comic relief. Transformers is targeted for a July 4, 2007 release date.

Pure eye candy I bet. Bay and Spielberg = Huge effects budget with little substance. Thats said, it'll definatly be some damn good eye candy...I'll see it in theatres.

My little brother might crap himself, he loves Transformers, he has a savings account just for the giant whole body tattoo he wants. I hope its good, or there will be a lot of pissed off fans!
