Fire in the Sky (1993)

This film is a reverse sandwich. Both ends are loaded with meat- both the first encounter and the startling conclusion are masterfully executed. The middle of the sandwich, though, is sluggish and dry, and we nearly give up on the thing before we're full. It sounded a lot better than it turned out to be.

best thing in it was without a doubt the spaceship scenes. After that it was pretty much downhill.

I found it pretty good, not the best, but definatly worth a rental. Its the strange fairytale type story that you would expect to come from Neil Gaiman. 6/10

So far Gaimans novels hasn't worked out well as movies. I don't understand why that is.

But i'm still looking forward, with great hope, to Neverwhere (2009)

Halloween 4

Just watched Halloween 4 on Friday--on AMC of all channels. Since when did they start playing cool movies? Afterwards I logged onto their site, turns out they're giving away Godzilla dvds too...awesome: http://blogs.amctv.com/monsterfest/talk/
