[*REC] 4: Apocalypse

[REC] 4 to open Sitges Film Festival
Closing instalment of zombie horror series to open 47th edition of genre film festival

Jaume Balaguero's [REC] 4 Apocalypse will open this year's Sitges Film Festival which runs from Oct 3-12.

The final instalment of the zombie horror franchise, which sees Manuela Velasco reprise her role as reporter Angela Vidal, is currently in post-production and screens at the festival ahead of its Spanish release on Oct 31.

It was filmed in Barcelona, Terrassa, Gijïn and the Canary Islands over seven weeks and was produced by Julio Fernandez for Filmax, with the participation of TVE, Canal+ and in collaboration with TV3.

The fourth entry from director Jaume Balaguero marks the end of an effective trilogy (skipping over the not wholly related third entry) and will no doubt be a bloody affair with suitable amounts of closure.

Paco Plaza returns to produce and Velasco is back for her third stint as the infected/possessed TV reporter.

Synopsis:

Quote:
"Angela Vidal, the young television reporter who entered the building with the fireman, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don't know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine."
REC 4: Apocalypse opens in theaters overseas this fall.

Can someone share their thoughts on the trailer?
I tend to avoid those because of possible spoilers but I would like to hear the impression it gives.
