Up to date with: The Walking Dead, Titans, Wentworth (great opening episode of their final season), and watching through "Archer" for the first time.

American Horror Story -

I saw that two episodes were on late. I didn't mean to check it out since I'm behind on the series and haven't seen it since the Freak Show season. But I watched a good amount, like an hour and a half, of those two episodes and it seemed really good. I was cool seeing those actors again.

I do remember that the shows always started off well. But according to wiki this is a short season. And I remember from Bloody Disgusting that they were doing a poll on which monster to pick. And it's going to be a two part season.

So what I'm going to do is watch it straight during the October month. And see if they put up the seasons I missed On Demand during September or October.

Yeah...not sure if they're trying REALLY hard to have a good last season, but these are some of the best episodes I've seen in AGES.
Since they're going through all their regularly recurring characters and tropes, I rally hope their final HEIST mission is killer.

Chapelwaite ep. 1-4 6/10

This is an odd one.

Inspired by Stephen King’s short story “Jerusalems Lot” which was inspired by Lovecraft’s short story “Rats in the wall”, but in reality it’s more of a blend between the two and “Salems Lot”. Sounds good, but the show doesn’t work for me. Maybe it’s the actors, maybe it’s the characters, maybe it’s the scares that doesn’t work or maybe it’s simply because the story isn’t told very well. Most of all I blame the director. He had something there that could’ve been really special.

Chapelwaite ep 5 7/10

When I heard Brody was going to Jerusalem’s Lot I thought, fuck yeah, NOW it’s the beginning of King’s short story. But no, Jerusalem’s Lot didn’t turn out to be a ghost town and nothing was like the book and it probably never gonna be. And like with the former episodes the atmosphere just isn’t very scary even though it really tries to be.

No, give me a movie or a tv show about the origins of the Marsten House instead.
