The Da Vinci Code
I just heard that there is going to be a moive based on the book. I've never read the book but I've heard its really controversial.
Any opinions?

The books not bad but its a bit pretentious and not particularly well written. Starts well but begins to fade somewhat halfway thru, and there is no horror in it at all except maybe the opening crime scene.
I heard the film was a done deal and Tom Hanks was going to be the main man.

I thought it was a good read, but found Angels and Demons to be better. Angels and Demons is the prelude to Da Vinci Code.
