Silent Hill on the PS1.

It was a game that introduced me to survival horror games. I would love to see a re-vamped version for the PS2, with better graphics and an extended story it would be awsome. The mini monsters in the school were one of the best I've seen. You could hear them and they would just come out of nowhere with their huge claw like hands, edge of the seat stuff. I own the other four in the series (I include the directors cut version of 2) and I am looking forward to 5 (the last in the series). However, my mind always returns to my first visit to that quiet (eerie) lakeside town. I keep a dusty old PS1 just to stroll down the foggy streets of silent hill every once in a while.

There are three, I cannot place them in order...

Flashback: The quest for identity
Half-life 1
Max Payne 1

When I look at those, it must be about storyline, I love them all.

Doom (Ultimate)
Shanks, try Zdoom, it gives a full 360 view, adds jumping, plus gives doom sparkly graphics

Quake
Half-life
Half-life 2
Lemmings

Half Life 2 takes the cake.

Call Of Duty: United Offensive is one of my favorite games out there now. I have not yet met a single person who can beat me in that game. (:

Yes I have played "Yie are kung fu"(com 64), Half Life 2, Doom 3, Battlefield....and many more...but nothing compares to the feeling I got from this old Play Station 1 game......(havent played it in years).....

.....But "Roll Away"(aka Kula World)...is the best!

Yie-Ar kung-fu was like tha grandaddy of streetfighter, right??
I think I played it on some cheap-ass generic home console.
Then there was another one like it that was more of a side scrolling beat-em up...maybe part 2?

Kula Word was the shit...crazy fucking game...messes with your perception just like descent and forsaken did.
Very cool, so yeah...SEDATED wouldn't know it, would he?

Descent was a game with (I think) 3 installments.
I'm sure at least 2 of them were on ps1 also.
You were inside a vehicle...like a flying ship. You could choose multiple views as I recall, and basically, there were areas of the game that were like mazes, that went up, down, allover the place, and your ship could follow them in any direction, sometimes it was difficult to know whether or not you were travelling fowards, upwards, downwards or what...like, the perspective adjusted with you, but it was still pretty disorienting sometimes...but, like with kula world, the perspective made it cool.

Forsaken was basically the same deal, but underwater, with slightly more polished graphics than the first 2 descent games.
Similar idea, nice to look at, realistic "feel", and as I recall, great sound.
Also a ps1 game.

Both were also on pc.
