Cinestrange Movie Festival with Dario Argento in Germany

From the third to the fifth of August 2012 will be taking place the
Cinestrange Movie Festival
in Dresden (Germany)

Among others there will be the following guests:

Dario Argento
(Director of The Cat o'Nine Tales, Deep Red, Suspiria, Sleepless, Giallo and others)

Claudio Simonetti
(From the Band 'Goblin', music for the movies Deep Red, Suspiria, Dawn Of The Dead, Mother Of Tears and others)

The creators of the Cinestrange Movie Festival have the aim to create a dialogue between the audience and the artist, in this case a director, a musician and other movie experts. The festival is focused on the interaction and goes away from the simple presentation of an artpiece and the one-way channel from artist to audience.

During the three days of the Cinestrange Movie Festival, among others there will take place the following events:

- press conference, opening gala and after-show-party with movie experts and the international star guests
- discussion rounds with Dario Argento and Claudio Simonetti
- retrospective of the work from Dario Argento and the assigning to him of a lifetime achievement award
- life performance of Dario Argento and Claudio Simonetti, consisting of movie scenes, music and commentary

During the entire festival will be shown various movies from Dario Argento and young, ambitious filmmakers. At the end of the festial the best movie will be assigned the Cinestrange Award.

As shown, with the Cinestrange Movie Festival will it be finally possible getting in contact with the great artists and taking part in this exclusive event.
