I don't remember if I've seen Black Sabbath. I know it's Mario Bava. I've seen Blood and Black Lace which was good. I liked The Beyond and House by the Cemetary. Zombie was good, but I'm not big into the zombie subgenre. I'm more of a werewolf buff. I rewatched An American Werewolf in London, yesterday. It holds up remarkably well in today's age. Torso was boring in my opinion and the climax was anticlimactic.

I only saw one scene from Q, The Winged Serpent. It looked like the run-of-the-mill monster flick. It reminded me a little bit of the original Clash of the Titans.

The Incredible Melting Man

Very goopy and excellent FX work by Rick Baker. The cast includes Cheryl Smith and Janus Blythe, which adds to the watchability.

Hmm, looks interesting. I love the cover art and I saw a picture of Rick Baker's effects on Wikipedia. It looks pretty cool.

PHANTASM (1979). While I don't think it's as good as some people make it out to be, it has, if nothing else, a lot of cool plot twists and certainly is not dull. Wouldn't mind me a couple of the flying spheres (Great effect) for some people and the "Lady in Lavender" was choice! ***1/2

I have to agree all the way with You. Very good film that deserves a bigger audience.

SHOCK WAVES (1976). Low budget hampers this a bit, but still a darn good little flick and the monsters in here are pretty eerie. Decent perfs by Brooke Adams, Peter Cushing, John Carradine and Luke Halpin (TV's FLIPPER-!!) ***1/2
