In retrospect, I think this was the best horror game of the 2010s. The decade was a bit of a low point for horror gaming, but playing this made me think I was lost in Silent Hill again. Even the creatures were so reminiscent, and the idea of teleporting by coming into contact with mirrors was kind of the same as in SH0 with Travis, the truck driver doing this as well.

I just find it puzzling how so few people liked it. Shinji Mikami of RE fame even directed the first one. It played a lot like RE4, and there's even a boss who uses a chainsaw. Granted, the story was kind of hard to understand. Just what the hell is STEM anyway? But hell yeah. The game was gorgeous, and certainly atmospheric.
