I don't even know where to start with this movie.Disturbing yes!
I really, honestly, found this movie to be a bit boring. Maybe it's just that after watching many films like this, this one lost the impact.

parts were a little stale,I figured I would watch it and see though, since it was on HDC's most disturbing list.I'm always testing myself with films, and I really thought Cannibal Holocaust was a lot worse than this one.

Still, i did not like it, save for everything Rorchach.
I get you there...personally I found the comic did a better job, I mean the movie had most of what needed to be there but yeah...I thought the effects were pretty damn good and GREAT in the case of Rorschachs mask, the tone was nice and dark and I thought it was decent.
I think a lot of the characters had ways of making you not like them though.

Dog Day Afternoon: Brilliant film. Shame we didn't get to see Cazale in more films, great peformance from a great actor. He and Pacino together is about as good as it gets.

I love the part where Pacino tells him "We can go to any country in the world, Sal. What country do you want to go to?"
Sal thinks long and hard and finally answers, "Minnesota..."

Brilliant line, which was an ad lib from Cazale. There was a fair amount of improv. work within the film.

I guess I'll be a pedantic asshole at this moment too and point out it was Wyoming and not Minnesota, but the line still works perfectly either way.

Haha- yah, it's been a while since I've seen it. Definitely one of my fave Pacino roles, and one of Lumet's greatest as well.

Watched this again yesterday with my Mom (shes 75) - really enjoyed it. My Ma thought it was great too. Shes not a big horror fan - she likes the Die HArd and Segal stuff more (as well as peroid drama like pride and prejudice)
