So there is so much new news for this year’s Madison Horror Film Festival that we decided just to give you the basics and let you check out the site for yourselves. The date for the festival will be Saturday October 8th, 2011 with a festival pre-party on Friday October 7th. The event will again be held at the Market Square Cinema located at 6604 Odana road in Madison, WI.
Deadlines for film submissions is Friday September 9th. Tickets for the event are just $10 in advance. Advance ticket holders get a free pass into the festival pre-party which is a benefit for Madison Cable Access channel WYOU.
The pre-party will be held at the Regent Street Retreat at 1206 Regent St. in Madison, WI. The venue was formerly known as The Annex. There will be plenty of great guests including Christopher R. Mihm and his film “Attack of the Moon Zombies”, Thomas Berdinski and his “Giant Rubber Monster Movie” and “The Italian Zombie Movie Part 1”. Horror hosts attending will be Marlena Midnight and Robyn Graves from Midnite Mausoleum, Dr. Ivan Cryptosis, Woody from Atomic Age Cinema, Freakshow from Bordello of Horror and possibly a few more.
