The Evil Of Frankenstein
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058073/ A Hammer movie that was distributed by Universal so they had the green light to use the likeness of the original. They should have stuck to their own vision. The monster looked pretty foolish. The only saving grace was the usual atmosphere of the Hammer movies and of course Peter Cushing.

I watced an old Roger Corman flick a couple nights ago, The Day The World Ended. It wasnt bad, it had a fairly good story line and the acting was good, but the mutant monster was a hoot. Some one on here described a monster as looking like a big turd, this one looked like a big turd with too many arms. Funny as hell.

Lost Horizon-This was astounding-a group of people avoiding war in China crash land in Tibet and are led to Shang Ri La-all round great performances and the mystique of the film is maintained drawing you right in from the start. Granted it was a bit predictable being all metaphorical and allegorical but I was gripped nonetheless.

Cash on Demand (1962)
 Worth watching for Cushing's performance alone; specially a must see for his fans. >>: A- In Cold Blood (1967)  Direction, lighting, script & story progression as well as performance of the cast...all were Excellent! Instantly becomes one of my all time favorites. Just after first 10 to 15 minutes, I suddenly recognized the actor (Scot Wilson) playing Richard 'Dick' Hickock...hey! that's Dr. Hershel Greene from The Walking Dead! :) Thanks a lot to NE for the recommendation. >>: A
