Resident Evil 4 made me jump at some parts, like when I had to go down in the sewer where the giant invisible bugs were. They made these awful screeching noises and I kept jumping and accidentally dropping the controller.

Eternal Darkness

It almost made me take back my Gamecube when it went into the fake shutdown mode. Bastard of a game...

I agree. I hated that. It makes you get up and stand at the TV, almost pacing.

Nauseatingly fidgety in many parts, especially the corridors.

Don't wanna sound like a wuss, but Ive played many games that have scared me before. Games usually scare me a hell of a lot more than movies. I really haven't seen a film thats scared me but there are more than a few games.

I guess Condemned freaked me out the most. Eh...it got to the point where I stopped liking it cause there was too much tension.

The Thing scared me when it first came out. Me being younger then most likely made the effect stronger. Then I played it about a year ago and it kinda lost its spark for scares but was fun to play nonetheless.

Doom 3, FEAR, Silent Hill, first few minutes of Bioshock are some notably tense games.

Dont feel like a wuss, some of us are affected way more than others. I am one of them, it took me a couple of years to make it through They Hunger, it scared me that much.
