Episode 16 "Conquer"

SPOILERS

Glad to see Lennie James finally show up again and it was great to see him kick some ass. So that was our actual introduction to The Wolves Epic trap that Daryl and Aaron fell into and seeing Daryl use a chain to decapitate three zombies was awesome. Carol was excellent in this especially when she tells Pete "Come at me". Can't believe Nicholas shot Glenn! Very cool that Morgan was the one to save Daryl and Aaron. Superb gore in the scene where Gabriel decapitates the walker with the noose around its neck. Rick pushing his gun up into that walker's face before shooting it looked amazing. Very satisfying seeing Glenn beat up Nicholas and was disappointed that Glenn chose not to kill him. Another good speech from Rick at the end. Pete showing up and killing Deanna's husband was unexpected. I loved that Deanna told Rick to put him down. Morgan and Rick reunited! Loved the symbolism of Michonne taking the katana back down from the wall.

What a mess of an episode..

A sad way to end the season.

Great ending...had me on the edge of my seat almost the entire time...
At one point, when Rick was fighting the 3 walkers and Glenn was fighting Nicholas...I couldn't even sit down.
That's good TV!

I binged the last season over the last couple of days.
It definitely was better than the previous one.
But after watching Z-Nation I have troubling adapting to the drama.
Also after 5 seasons it's getting a bit repetitive. And it's making me care less and less.

And what's the deal with all those stupid nicknames for zombies?!
Why doesn't anyone call them what they actually are?

Must have missed that bit. Or was it after the credits?
Because I thought that Pete guy used her sword to kill that older guy.?
Or I wasn't paying attention for a moment...

I was quite disappointed with the finale. There was a lot of build up through out the last few episodes for something big to happen. But once we got there, nothing happened. They put several of the characters in situations where you felt one of them at least wouldn't make it out
alive but of course, they all did. It's bullshit in my opinion on the writer's part. This also isn't the first time they've done this on the show.

I'm still pissed about the prison finale with The Governor.

Wife and I binged watched this on DVD when released and now watching it again. Personally thought this was an EXCELLENT season and a big improvement over #4, although that wasn't bad either. One of my favorite shows, ever.
