1 - Do you remember when you first watched it? Theater, VHS or DVD?
Online, in the last year

2 - Did you get any feedback (from friends or media) prior to watching it?
Nothing from friends. But from the general media that it was good, that it was scary, and made by Peter Jackson.

3 - How was your first viewing experience?
Very disappointed. Had decent special effects, and the idea was original to the big screen. But to me, it wasn't scary, and it wasn't funny (except for one or two lines). It was a little too goofy and kiddie for me, like watching a Sat morning cartoon.

4 - How many times have you re-watched it since?
Will never happen.

5 - Any special memories associated with it, that you wish to share?
Yes, I loved gazing upon Trini Alvarado's beautiful face.

1) Do you remember when you first watched it?

I think I was about 7 or 8

2) Did you get any feedback (from friends or media) prior to watching it?

Nope

3) How was the viewing experience? How did it affect you?

I loved it, it made me laugh and it scared me at the same time but this was one of the movies that really started to get me into the horror genre so for that this movie will always hold a special place in my heart.

4) How many times have you rewatched it? Memories? Does it still hold good even today for you?

I usually watch it multiple times during October so God only knows how many times I've seen it. It certainly holds up the same parts I thought were funny back when I was 7 I still find funny today and the parts I used to find scary I still consider to be creepy. I remember right after I watched it I tried to convince my parents to get me some ghost friends (safe to say my request was denied.)

5) Anything else you wish to share.

Marty McFly ain't scared of no ghost!

Yes, on AMC's Fearfest. They used to play that film every year.

2 - Did you get any feedback (from friends or media) prior to watching it?

None, but I had heard that it was more of a comedy than horror.

3 - How was your first viewing experience?

I loved it. I found it to be quite excellent and really funny.

4 - How many times have you re-watched it since?

At least six to twelve

5 - Any special memories associated with it, that you wish to share?

Not really. Except that I watched it in the past couple months and it made me realize how excellent it really was, in my opinion.

1 - Do you remember when you first watched it? Theater, TV or DVD?

Yes, I purchased the DVD from Amazon on a Thursday and it arrived by the next day at noon. It was a DVD.

2 - Did you get any feedback (from friends or media) prior to watching it?

Yeah, I had heard many good things about it (including from this website). It had just been added to the Scary Movie Rankings then, so I decided to give it a shot.

3 - How was your first viewing experience? Were you scared stiff by the time the end credits started rolling?

I loved it. I was not really scared, except for at the final scene. Of course, when the plot twist was revealed, it significantly increased in scariness, for me.

4 - How many times have you re-watched it since?

I have not. I plan to watch it with my nephew, who has seen Quarantine, though.

5 - Any special memories associated with it, that you wish to share?

Not really. I watched it with my friend, Elijah. We thought it was really good.

Note: I have never seen Quarantine, even though I own both.
