I enjoyed it. The story is entertaining and contains some creepy moments. It happens to be written quite well... The author's vision strongly influenced artists from another industry and so there were four film adaptations made. It's not an outstanding masterpiece, but still very good and based on a tremendous idea. I surely must look further into some S-F works because it's been working out for me.

KENNEDY BABYLON-Howie Carr. Extremely unflattering expose of the family with all the arrogance, promiscuity, substance abuse and sense of entitlement one associates with them.

SUMMER OF '42-Herman Raucher. Really liked this Coming of Age story back in my teen years, but find it hard going today as the three boys are so obnoxious-maybe I couldn't see it back then?

FROM ABBA TO ZOOM-David Mansour. As it says on the jacket, this is a Pop Culture Encyclopedia of the late 20th Century, and all people born from the late 50's -late 80's should find a lot of reminiscing here. Some of the categories include (just what I see when turn to a Random page) "Fisher Price Pull Toys", "Mach V"(Speed Racer), "Quisp and Quake' (Cerals) "Bugs Bunny", "Slow Dancing Songs", "Fast Food Restaurants", "High School Types", "Bobby Sherman", "Slasher Films" etc etc
