Not heard of Valhalla Rising.
The third Pusher film was great. Some twisted shit in it.

Here's the trailer for Valhalla Rising:

Should be dope by the look of it.

Brothers (2009)

Great movie - glad to see such a powerful performance from Tobey Maguire.

Hard to believe, but he's incredible here. His Golden Globe nomination is well deserved, and I wouldn't be upset at all if this got him an Oscar nod as well.

A powerful and brash coming-of-age film. The last 20-odd minutes have a couple of powerful emotional sucker punches to the gut. Highly recommended again - Fortunato, Return, Alky and everyone else who loves their cinema with a bit of dark-edged reality.

Dang, V. You've really been beefing up my queue lately.
Thanks !

Wise Blood (1979)

Flannery O'Connor's excellent novel makes a truly bizarre film. Pretty true to the book on paper, it comes off a little goofier and messier than its source material, which is certainly nothing out of the ordinary. That being said, it's still very engaging, unique cinema. Very enjoyable.

I was really dissapointed in the film version of it - I think making it 'contempory' ruined my believe in the naivity of Dourif's character. It wasn't a terrible film - i just loved the book a lot..

Legend of Drunken Master (1994). The fight sequences were absolutely incredible . The mill scene was the perfect ending to a perfect Kung Fu flick. Fun trivia is that Jackie Chan's real life body guard had to step in to do the fight finale due to an injury of the original cast. Ashe.

Well worth the watch just to witness Nick Cage chew the scenary for a couple of hours..Brad Dourif is great too..Fairuza Balk is hot in a way too short cameo..

Nick never quite reaches the depravity that Harve did in the same role....I really can't believe that Herzog said it had nothing to do with the Ferrara film and the film company made him call it he Bad Lieutenant.
