Flowers in the Attic

Is anyone going to watch this? It's a Lifetime production, so I'm a little scared (not in a good way), although judging from the trailer, this version doesn't seem to skimp on the incest like the original movie did. Any thoughts?

The original wasn't really a horror movie, so i doubt this one will be.

But i'm probably gonna watch the remake as it's a helluva long time since i saw it and i remember not being very impressed. Probably due to the lack of horror. So hopefully the new one will be more horrific.

The original doesn't do the book any justice, which is saying very little, because the book isn't exactly great literature either. But the book did have some very Gothic elements to it, which I'd be curious to see in the remake. Then again, I highly doubt that Lifetime will capitalize on said elements, because the incest plotline is so much more "sensational" and may draw in more viewers.

I read most of the V.C. Andrews books when I was young and Flowers in the Attic was one of my favorites. Yes, it did have quite a goth appeal to it.

How many movies are there of this story? I have seen 2 so far. One with Kirsty Swanson and one with Heather Graham. The latter of the 2 wasn't very good at all.
