I probably saw Torture on MTV or VH1 back in the day. I don't think I ever flipped radio channels a lot. But they had a lot of odd music videos then. It was like videos all the time from what I remember. Then it started to change to popularity shows.
Always liked that song. His presentation looks like it's for women only, period. But you know, art is art.

We only have 4 participants. Need at least two more. We need to advertise elsewhere?

Hammerfan, you want to advertise this on HDC Facebook?

You know when I saw Lost Boys originally, I didn't know the director was gay. So a muscle guy playing sax didn't mean anything odd. There is a good chance I didn't know what gay even meant back then. But when Arnold Schwarzenegger once joked about liking oiled up men, I started to get some of the inside meanings.

Also, I didn't know that Clive Barker was gay until fairly recently. Now the title Midnight Meat Train takes on a whole different meaning.

Is the facebook for this site more active?

Interesting... I Still Believe was written by The Call. Saxophonist Tim Cappello usually preforms shirtless and oiled up, probably to get the ladies. So the director didn't need to coach him to do that, but might have appreciated it.

And no, HDC isn't more active on FB, but there's some things announced there.

Folks definitely want best music, songs, themes from horror films.

OK, guess I'll throw in my 5...at first had to think which 5 have stuck with Me. Then thought of several more For now, here they are.

1-PSYCHO (1960). Groundbreaking and still frightening Bernard Herrman score.

2-NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968). While it's mostly library music and taken from other films (Two being TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE and THE HIDEOUS SUN DEMON), feel it's effectively used.

3-HORROR OF DRACULA (1958). Love the bombastic music during the opening credits...

4-FRIGHT NIGHT (1985). The song "Come To Me" when Jerry initiates Amy

5-THE THING (1982). So spare and so creepy!

I didn't know about the music origins. Thanks.
