The Alice in Wonderland/drug narrative connection is elementary and overused. Dig deeper. Also, the setup is too familiar. Also, look up Schizophrenia. What you mean is he has a multiple personality, or suffers from Dissociative Personality Disorder. With only a handful of exceptions, Schizophrenics are people with delusions that are more likely to harm themselves than anybody else. I advise you to expose yourself to good surrealism. It doesn't need excuses like Schizophrenia and drugs. Lynch never says "he was on lots of drugs" or "he was mentally ill", neither does Jodorowsky. Expand your horizons artisically and expand your limits. Take a look at the films in our top 100 lists.
And for your benefit, the last words on weirdness and perception:

The thing I would go for, is more the Clockwork Orange, Twilight zone fuck with your mind type of horror, to me they always seemed the most scary. You know, because life always has those unique twists.^^

I agree with Doc. Take your time and come up with something more original. Create original characters that are distinguished. Example: the guy from Slingblade that scoots the chair across the floor and talks senseless shit about a Mercury to Carl. or: the pig face guy who blast everything straight to hell with a machine gun in Waterworld.

I've always liked characters who stand out in a film. It's a good way to keep the audience's attention. Good luck.

Hate when that happens.

Or even worse, when the hook catches your ballsack and just rips it open..

crotch damage is such a. . . low blow.

Neverending scares me. Someone should make a movie about him walking into a room full of 18 year olds. Say something stupid, you'll start to see what I'm talking about, terrifying.
