It's all a matter of taste. In my opinion all Asian vampire miss the boat by a mile and are pretty much laughable, as is all their horror. Their culture has a completely different take on the dark fantastic than the Gothic tradition we inherited from Europe.
Some of the stuff thter than Hammer or Universal or big-budget Hollywood that I found interesting...Leomra, the films of Jean Rollin, Blood-Spattered Bride, and Blood Ceremony. And of course the great Black Sunday and Black Sabbath. Last edited by Dr.Kelvinstein; 08-06-2004 at 12:14 PM. |

6. Blood for dracula (1973) This threw me off before I realized it's the DVD title of Warhol's Dracula. Not to be confused with Blood of Dracula or Blood of Dracula's Castle. |
