What editing system do you use?

I am looking into getting an editing system. I hear good things about Final Cut HD 3.5, I guess for the money it's a really good program. I have used analog for years and am just now upgrading with the rest of the century. Sony and Apple make a system too but I dont know much about them.
I want a system under $200. that will allow me to sequence video and audio and add special effects and titles. Doesn't need to be an enormous ultra complicated program, just simple and effective. Any ideas? Thanks.

I use Movie Edit Pro 11. I got it for $20 and it works great for low budget stuff.

My friends and I use the program that came with the computer, works fine.

We made this with it, it involved a bit of editing. I know we biffed the around-the-corner part.
