You're welcome. I had hopes for it but it's really not worth a watch

Unfriended 2 Dark Web -

I wasn't going to watch this one. I remember someone here reviewing it and I commented on that fairly recently. I thought it was just a sequel to the first movie which I didn't think was that good. But it was short and has Betty Gabriel in it. I've noticed her in a bunch of movies recently. I think people started to notice her in Get Out as the maid. Since that I've seen her in Westworld TV, Counterpart TV, and Upgrade. She's a really good actress. Unfriended Dark Web surprised me. The setup is still the same with the computer screens and chats telling the story. However maybe I should have known it wasn't a true sequel from the title.

The acting is good from everyone. The actress who plays the Amaya reminds me of another actress that I'm trying to remember. I like how current it is with some of the computer technology talk. There is one thing about the movie that might be a bit of a negative. I'll just say that if you are a good computer user then what happens early on might not make sense. But just go with it. I think this movie is worth a watch for horror fans. I like it a lot more than the original. It's still not worth owning. And it is a bit dark in the end but according to wiki there are alternate endings that I'm reading about.

WE GO ON 2016

A young man takes out a newspaper ad promising $30,000.00 to the first person that can prove what happens after death.

Thought it would be dull but it turned out quite interesting.

28 Days Later... (2002)
8/10

Pretty good zombie film taking place in England. Captures the action, suspense and essential characters well. The actor Cillian Murphy always reminds me of Eric Roberts. He's played so many American roles, I didn't even know he's an Irish national.

The X Files: I Want to Believe (2008)
7/10

A psychic priest helps Mulder, Scully and FBI with a deadly missing persons case. Pretty good film. I enjoyed it. The ending wasn't perfectly clear to me, needed more exposition, but maybe I was looking for more than was there.

Not sure what the prior harsh reviews were for. Maybe just unmet expectations. It's a crime drama with supernatural, suspense and horror aspects, as opposed to sci-fi, sci-fi effects and humor. It does severely undeploy the natural comedic talents of the stars, but of course too much of that can wreck the serious horror tones.

Shazam! 7/10

Pretty funny with a pretty cool villain in Mark Strong.

But what really rubbed me the wrong way was how different the boy and the superhero acted even tho they were supposed to be the same person. I blame the boys bad acting. His character was so damn annoying.

Director: Meir Zarchi

Holy fuck was this terrible. I often found myself staring at the screen with my mouth agape, thinking wtf am I doing here.

Cold Pursuit, 2019. 5/10

Director: Hans Petter Moland

Thumb resize.

I didn't like this one at all. Liam was good dishing out his revenge but everything else blew. This was a comedy folks. Yep. Unbelievable.

This film was really good. It does mirror POD by Mickey Keating but goes a bit deeper and darker.
