ok..not really....but I DID need a beer after it.
Actually I thought it was meant to end on a positive note...

The boy is rescued by a 'normal family' proving there is still humanity left to carry 'the fire' and not every reduced to be cannibalistic animals...

Went to see this incredible tons of fun flick yesterday and despite the lack of cider during the showing I still enjoyed it immensely....Any one who saw the trailer and expected anything different needs a shuriken to the eye...

Typical story - Renegade ninja turns his back on his hard but fair Bonsai Growing family to GO NOMAD...Actually his family aren't really that nice, infact they're a clad of Ninja who have been carrying out covert, secret and untracable assassinations for centuries all over the world..I know, a little hard to swallow since their leave every crime scene littered with severed limbs and torsos peppered with throwing stars....

Well all this is secondary to scenes of Ninjas flipping the fuck out and cutting the heads off everyone while ninja guitar music wails in the background..All the fights consist of random body parts being removed and flopping to the floor as pyjama clad kung fuers spin like dervishes whirling kusari and taking each others eyes out..

As least a 100 million pixals of blood is used in every scene...My only problem is that it should have been in 3D - and that I shoulda brought cider too. It also lacked the Naked Ninjitsu and flaoty spiders of the amazing NINJA the Final Duel....

Oh, no man. The movie is supposed to come after you watch the show.
I guess it's not a huge deal, but there are a few big reveals in the show that you'll already know now.

Opera (1987). i am finally starting to see some love in Dario Argento. Before i was too stuck on the forced acting and plot holes and such. After viewing Opera, his movies are more about style, atmosphere, and that creepy and nomadic camera. It is almost as if the characters might detract the viewer from the real artistic flair were they to shine too much. While the stories themselves are rather chunky, the hidden gems are found in some of the crazy imagination that he mixes into these slasher classics. The kills are definitely classic Dario. Ashe.

Identity. I kind of hated it a bit. All that build up to get me caring about the characters, and in the end I just stopped caring because SPOILERS they're not real. And finding out who the killer was was the easiest thing ever and terribly cliched.

Funny.

I loved it for all the reasons you hated it.

See how much your taste sucks, honey. :)
