For horror stories I’m currently listening to:
Psudopod - short stories unrelated to one another.

The Wicked Library- short stories mostly unrelated to each other but there is related narration with the hosts in character and some secondary stories that are related.

The White Vault - audio drama with multiple characters following their stories. This is my favorite on this section. It’s by the Fool and Scholar group. One of the few companies that I have decided to pay for their closed off series.

The Triangle - by Realm. A fictional story about the Bermuda Triangle narrated by. Single reader. I’m enjoying it. Just started a few days ago.

The Hidden People - a murder mystery gone dark urban fantasy. A really nice audio drama with multiple voice actors and actresses.

For nonfiction horror such as film criticism and analysis I primarily listen to “ The Faculty of Horror hosted by Andrea Subissati and Alexandra West. They are what made me realize I could turn my love for contextual analysis, hyperlinks, and patterns towards horror in the form of tropes, plots and nods.

For nonfiction it’s broken down into a few categories.

SCIENCE

The Common Descent Podcast - evolution and paleontology. Really good.

Completely Arbortrary - dendrology “ tree science “

The Native Plant Podcast - landscape design and ecology of flora and fauna.

Origins Story - by Leaky foundation focused on human evolution. lol

BUILDING SCIENCE and CONSTRUCTION

Building Optimal- construction business management

Buisness of Architecture- design theory and social issues around public architecture.

Passive House Podcast

Shannon’s Lumber - lumber industry podcast focused on the technical end and on the selling end.

The Building Performance Podcast

THEOLOGY
The Bible Project - contextual analysis of the Tanakh and epistles.

BioLogos - science and faith founded by Francis Collins the lead scientist on the human genome project and director of NIH.

Recovering Evangelicals ( by Luke and Boyd ) about deconstruction and reconstructions of evangelicalism.

The Douglas Jacoby Podcast
The Peter Enns podcast.
Creepy Cove Community - Peter Laws horror Sunday service.

It is but it’s easy for me because I may only watch 1-2 movies a week and a few episodes of a show. I often just sit at home in my house and listen to a podcast while petting my cats. I also do quite a bit of solo work in construction and landscaping and will sometimes listen to 4-6 hours of podcasts while working. Plus they are not all on the same day. Like TBP released its new episode on Monday, BioLogos on Thursday and RE on Friday. I dont listen to music much except for when at the gym and so while riding my bike I instead listen to podcasts. Podcasts are definitely my favorite form of media entertainment.
