Do you want me to disappoint you now, or, would you rather wait until you watch it?

Why, is it available now?
We are talking about "legacy" *right?
I mean I've heard there's no plans to have him back,
but yknow, could be a misdirect.

No, he's not coming back. He's doing another show called Designated Survivor.

Dead of Summer -

I finished the show. Anyone who hasn't started or even started watching but stopped definitely shouldn't watch or finish the show. It's just not that good. It's ideas thrown up just because it might be good and sometimes they are. Other times they don't even make sense. For example ghosts or hallucinations are doing some pretty impressive things in this show.

I think the show was basically pitched with the knowledge that there was a Friday the 13th TV show in the works and they wanted to release this first. Add in an 80s setting, a few things from other horror series, and some people that have worked on other projects and they got the ok.

The twist is really bad. I get why they did it. To be clever and you can kind of see it coming if you remember something from an early episode. But still it's not developed or even hinted at enough. It's just a we did this to be clever twist. It's no where near as good as the twist in another horror movie.

SPOILER!!!

High Tension

Where the twist is unbelievable yet it's still different and surprising.

It's not the majority of the actors fault as at times they give good performances. It's just the overall feel that the show reaches at the end. Like who read that script or overall summary and thought that was a good setup and conclusion for a scary horror TV show.

I don't think I even finished watching the first episode. Hated it.
