Stompin' Tom Connors
So we got any Stompin' Tom fans 'round these parts? As a rule Im not a big country fan, but this guy is pretty awesome.
Very Canadian songwriter...Id be hard-pressed to think of a song that doesnt have something to do with Canada. He even mentions my fair city in his song Cross Canada:D Everyone oughta know either The Hockey Song or Bud the Spud...

With Canada Day coming up this Saturday, I figured it was a good time to bump this thread.
I love Stompin Tom. He got pissed at the CBC awhile back, but I dont know the whole story. Something about them not airing a show of his.
