Question Village of the Damned, what are your thoughts on this classic?

What are your thoughts on Village of the Damned and Children of the Damned? are they worth checking out? saw them available as a double feature a while back and thought they looked interesting.

I really love the first one. Its a cool story and the kids are creepy and mencing. The sequal isn't quite as good but its still very entertaining....

Definetly worth checking out. I unlike most people I know also really enjoyed Carpanters remake. Better pacing to the film imo.

Oliver Reed? Now I'm confused. I know he was in a film called "The Damned," which I quite liked. But I don't remember him from "Village of" or "Children of." Is he in the remake? (I wasn't actually able to sit through it and recall very little.)

Village is well worth checking out. I thought Children disappointed a tad, but its watchable.
