They both complement each other. The best really comes down to preference. I probably prefer Aliens. But I think I saw that one first. I can't remember.

Yes I think the first one is the best. The second one is a good action film but no where near as tense or scary as the first one. Plus the second one as that annoying girl with the high pitched scream...

Man, this PG-13 garbage is more or less destroying the real horror movies.

Like those ones where they fight the Predators in some money grab for a crossover. Meh.

It's too dark to see anything on the screen, but that's SCARY! Nah. It's not.

ALIEN is a good film, but hasn't aged well for Me while ALIENS is still a winner.

Personally, Aliens is the best in the franchise. I do, however, prefer watching Alien 3 though.

That being said, I can't remember the last time I watched any of them.
