Everything by King! But here are a few especially worthy of reading: The Stand, IT, Pet Sematary, Desperation, & Misery....

and some King that may not be quite horror but FABULOUS reads too: The Green Mile, Hearts in Atlantis, Rita Hayworth and Shawsank Redemption.

Clive Barker's Books of Blood (some of the more disturbing stories I've ever read!) His novels Imajica and The Great and Secret Show are nice.

Why are you all putting more then one book when the title says 'favorite book'?

I have to agree with you. Hannibal was a great book. Not to mention movie.

I have many but since the title says 'book' and NOT 'books', I'll tell you my favorite.

Stephen King's The Dark Half

I believe I want some Micky D Fries.
Make them super-sixed.
I dream about'em every night and day.
Just dip'em in ketchup and eat away.
I see me runnin' through that open door.
Eating all the fries I can endure
Mmm... I love to eat those fries....
