Looking for a horror film that was on Chiller Channel
I've been trying to find the name of a movie that I had seen on the Chiller Channel when it was still around...
The premise was: A group of scientists developed a "super soldier" (and yeah I've looked up the term "super soldier" in order to try finding the title) and unleashed him (it was a him) on a small squad of what I assume were military affiliated. The super soldier then killed off the folks in the group one by one. It ended with one of the female member's of the group killing the super soldier. I came across one movie with a super soldier premise and it did not sound like the movie I'm remembering. The movie I'm referring too was not associated with an alien. The killer (super solder) had a beard/goatee. I think the film was made in eastern Europe and was made during the years Chiller was active, but may not have been a Chiller or SyFy title (I've searched through both) I thank you for you help! Was it Universal Soldier : The Return? Possibly Bill Goldberg as the big bad?

Looks like a heck of a movie! But no. The movie I'm thinking of was a much smaller budget flick with far fewer actors/actresses. Basically you had a small group of scientists, the "super soldier" and a small group of military type folks. That was it. The scientists sent out the super soldier who killed off the group one by one, until only a gal and super soldier was left and she offed him. The end! |

Sounds kind of like The Vindicator (1986)

I could see "The Terminator" angle, but the kills were rather graphic.

Interesting movie.
But the one I'm thinking of was definitely post 2000 and more like post 2010. And it had all the makings of a low-budget film done in eastern Europe like many of those released by SyFy and Chiller during that time period. |
