And Now...the Invasion starts!

'Alien Bugs' Discovered In Earth's Atmosphere

Quote:
In the aftermath of last month's Perseid meteor shower, a group of British scientists made a shocking discovery that sounds like the prologue to an alien invasion scenario.

When the team recovered a research balloon they had sent into the Earth's lower stratosphere (about 17 miles up), they were shocked to find these microscopic “biological entities” clinging to its surface.

According to an article in Sky News, the team's leader, Professor Milton Wainwright, says it's unlikely that the tiny creatures could have been carried up to that height by air currents.

"We can only conclude that the biological entities originated from space,” he said.

Making the assumption that the microbes could not get up into space is quite an assumption, considering the weather balloon originated on the surface, and there was no reason to keep it 'sterilized' before it's placement. Secondly, individuals should not assume there are not 'earthly' lifeforms whose habitats are various levels of the atmosphere. For those who've seen NASA's Tether Incident video (youtube), it would seem there is exactly that.

Having said all that, I do believe life on Earth has an extraterrestrial origin. Among many sources, any who's seen 'Expelled 2008' gets a fair picture of that.
