Hi there Russ, how's it goin? I like just about all kinds.... Not overly into the Japanese Horror Flicks though.... Really only enjoyed the first Grudge, never seen Ringu or the Japanese Grudge.

Other than that, I love just about all the rest of it. How about you? :)

I'm the same. I like them all, but I like the one that are more pschologically terrifing than someone just jumping out of a hole to scare someone. Funny thing you mention Japaneese horror, I bought Audition the other day and I plan on watching it this weekend. Have you seen that one?

I've not seen Audition, but I've heard things about it. You'll haveta let me know what ya think.

Psychological horror is awesome. The Shining, The Blair Witch Project, Haute Tension.... All brilliant. :)

I just watched the new Funny Games and thought it was alright. I really want to see the original and was wondering if it is way better than the remake?

Thanks Freak... Russ, I LOVED Funny Games, absolutely fantastic flick.

I heard the original is the exact same, only of course it has sub-titles cuz it's in German or some other language I can't remember right now. I heard the (same) director filmed the remake shot for shot, just used better actors in Roth, Pitt and Watts.

I guess there is no reason for me to watch the original then. I did like the dialogue between the two killers, but I thought Timothy Roth and Naomi Watts were not directed to their potential. They are both great actors and I thought their performances were a little flat.
