(i'm speaking within my exposure so far - Ju-on, Ringu, Dark Water, The Eye - and the american counterparts so far) I havent liked the Korean movies too much so far. They seem like a pale imitation of the Japanese films. but it still leaves me wondering what you prefer .. surely not slasher films ... they are insanely predicctable and totally devoid of atmosphere (i'm talking americans here - not the italians) 3 films in recent memory i've enjoyed .. 6th Sense, The Others, Session 9 .. and Stir of Echos gets an honerable mention. (it was a good movie but it doesnt stay in the forefront of my mind - and there must be a reason for that. as far as The Grudge ... i dont get the argument that it was hard to follow, or disjointed .... but thats because i didnt have any trouble following it ...
