Some of my faves are:

Jamie T
Buck 65
Aesop Rock
Wu Tang Clan
RZA

Do you like either of these tunes?

Aesop Rock's song is hella dope, thanx bro!

And ppl like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole & Freddie Gibbs is not rappers who rap about being rappers. They rap straight gangsta rap, which I luv! But I am a big fan of Lil Wayne, which is one of those "money, bitches"-rappers. haha :D

No problem, dude glad you liked it. If you get a chance pick up None Shall Pass it's his best album in my opinion.

Lately been listening to a lot of:

Joy Division - Peel Sessions, Substance, An Ideal for Living.

Best of New Order

The Smiths - The Queen is Dead

The Jesus and the Mary Chain - Darklands

Elliott Smith - New Moon

Elvis, you definitely should check this out if you've never heard it before. Pretty killer early-70s British heavy rock. Sounds like some crazy mix of MC5 and early Sabbath.

Right on, man. Yeah, it definitely grows on you. The guitar and vocals really remind me of MC5 at times.

I'm curious what you think of this song seeing as how we seem to have a similar taste in music. This song has some of my favorite lyrics ever in it:

"We went to new york city in September.
Took the train out of Manhattan to the grand army stop.
found that bench we'd sat together on a thousand years ago
when i felt such love for you i thought my heart was gonna pop.
i wanted you to love me like you used to do."

Pure gold! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YRWzxYS_nM
Never heard The Mountain Goats before but you're right the lyrics are very good cheers.
