What Horror Books do you treasure?

I like their writing Stephen King, Clive Barker, H.P. Lovecraft, & Guillermo Del Toro.

Treasure? I guess the ones I treasure are the small press publications. Or books that are hard to find/not very well known. On of my favorite books is The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger by Stephen King, but I do not treasure it because you can get it at any bookstore.

Regardless of where you can get it, The Gunslinger is one of the greatest books ever written. The series is one of the greatest series ever written...

Yeah, except for the last book. No spoilers, but even Stephen King has said he wants to make a big change to it that is mostly why its such a disappointing book.
I just ordered a 1989 version of The Gunslinger. I believe it was better than the reedited one he did and I've since lost my original copy from way back.

Yeah, it almost became hard to follow in that last book. And the ending... it hurt my head. I cant wait for someone to finally adapt it. I would love to see it come to life on screen.

I find it unlikely it will be adapted since the recent attempt failed.

It didn't fail, it just shifted, again.

It's a classic. Las Vegas in a sand storm with vampires running amock. Loved it.
