The violence, so brutal, the film, so sad. : (
Looks interesting. It's going on my watchlist.

Lords Of Chaos (2018)

I went into this with an open mind and ended up enjoying it. It was an entertaining biopic which didn't shy away from some of the tragic and violent subject matter. The actual events have been clouded by exaggerated mythology, half truths and straight up lies over time so it's hard to say how accurate some of it was. It paints Euronymous in a more favorable light than Varg which there is some truth to. I'd always kinda pictured Euronymous as a nastier Charles Manson type figure manipulating and orchestrating chaos that eventually blew up in his face. I thought it was a bit of an oversight not mentioning Messiah and Maniac the vocalists before Dead (especially since they released the Deathcrush EP with Maniac). I dug how it put a human side to it and I'd forgotten just how young these guys were. The film may not appeal to the die-hard black metal fan (well some will front and not admit it haha) but I think it's well crafted enough that mainstream audiences can jump into that world for an entertaining and sombre ride.

A pretty dark at times cyberpunk movie with some horror type deaths. It shouldn't have surprised me but it did. Worth checking out.

This was actually pretty good. Really creepy with a great atmosphere. The main character was dumb as hell though

Meet Joe Black (1998) (netflix)
8/10

Business tycoon Anthony Hopkins is visited by Death, played by Brad Pitt. Death is interested in experiencing some life, and there's a mutual interest between him and Hopkin's daughter, played by Claire Forlani, with all her mouth, looking left and right and down, facial expressions.

I didn't know what to expect, and it's pretty unusual. There's a bit of old movie 30s-40s feel here, like say Topper, or the literary classics, but with completely modern speaking and specifics. Lot's of good advice given, said quite well. I was surprised by its 3hr runtime, so take note.

I really enjoyed this one. "Best Picture"...I don't know...it's really all subjective. out of the handful I saw [ Bohemian Rhapsody, Vice, Blackklansman,Black Panther, A Star is Born] it's as good a choice as any.

“Isn’t it Romantic” 7/10

A story kinda like Disneys’ “Enchanted”. Pretty funny.
