I love that movie! The sequel isn't too bad but it lacks the intensity that the first has. There's also a particularly annoying character that I could NOT stand. I don't know, maybe it was the person portraying the character but I just wanted to ignore them whenever they popped up in a scene. But, I digress. The first one is a blast! |

Time to catch up on some of the stuff I have seen lately:
Cop car - 6.5/10 For my liking, Bacon and the (other) bad guy were a bit too bumbling for this movie to be really gripping. Overall, it was alright, though, and Bacon's performance was solid, as (nearly) always. Split - 7/10 An effort that can redeem Shyamalaan a bit. Granted, some of the dialogues still are a bit "wuuuut?", but I liked the idea behind the film and McAvoy really delivers a strong performance. After "The last king of Scotland" I knew the boy could act, but this takes it a step further. Road kill -3/10 Pretty bland crap. The writing was dull, the characters were annoying,... Somewhere in the wasteland between meh and bullshit, you will find Road Kill. Will try a few more later. Last edited by Tommy Jarvis; 07-30-2017 at 01:26 PM. |
