After having seen Onibaba and Sword of Doom, i reallly want to check out more flicks of this genre. Right now i have Kagemusha, Throne of Blood, Yojimbo, and Harikara on my list. Any other "must see" flicks ya can think of??? Thanks.:)

Must watch - Kurosawa flicks. You cant go wrong with any of those.

Toshiro Mifune is your man. Check out his works.

Thanks; this should keep me busy for a while. So far, my favorite was The Sword of Doom, with Kagemusha a very, very close second. Ashe.

I just saw Ran and would highly recommend it, dont grab it if your looking for lots of action though. Seven Samurai is a definite must see.
Check out Shogun Assassin series AKA Lone Wolf And Cub. massively under rated samurai flicks with arterial spray aplenty.
