Thumbs up Sideshow by William Ollie

Hey guys, there's a brand new novel out called Sideshow by William Ollie. It's a horror novel based in a carnival setting and has been compared to Something Wicked This Way Comes. Check out the full wrap-around cover art:

Here's the link if you're interested in reading more about it:

That guy on the cover certainly reminds me of Mr. Dark from Something Wicked... and by casting two boys as the protagonists, he seems to be inviting the comparison. It would take something truly amazing to equal one of my favorite books...

I've been reading it myself, and trust me, besides a few very general similarities it's truly it's own novel, a great one at that. Here's what William Ollie himself had to say about the book:

I've got to confess, I'm a total sucker for horror stories set within a carnival/fairground/freakshow environment. Additionally, I'm enticed by the blurb.

Something else for the ‘to be read’ pile, hm? :D

:) You won't be disappointed. I'm about thirty pages away from finishing the novel myself, and it truly rivals the best of Stephen King.
