Im not a huge fan, but i dont think it is crap.

I like the styles that they use mostly. Akward angles and long shots keep me aticipating for the next kill. The Ring was very good in the japanese version, but i liked the americanized one better. I feel that we bring more to the screen actor-wise this time. Though the ending was a lot harsher for the japanese one. I've always suggested to watch both, so that my friends could get both of the different endings.

I haven't seen alot of them, just Ringu and The Eye, but I thought both were excellent! Really want to see Dark Water but I can't find it. :(

I personally like the older asian movies better then the "New Wave" flicks wonder when this trend is gonna burn out?
