books you haven't read and don't plan to

Title says it all. What books have you not read, and don't plan to read?

I, for one, won't bother with:
Any Harry Potter book after #2 (I read as much as I could of the first two, couldn't stand them, and see no reason to give the rest of them a shot)
Dianetics
The Da Vinci Code (I thought it was some big investigative book that delved into all sorts of stuff about the whole deal with Jesus, only to find out it was a dime-store thriller/adventure novel. I haven't given a shit since)

Anything by D.H. Lawrence. The man is a great writer, there's no doubt about it, but after doing a thesis on his work, the appeal is lost on me.

After graduation, I can't really see myself reading any classic "serious" literature. I will have done my time, and I'll only be reading for pleasure from that point on.

R&J is the Shakespeare play that gets most of the press, and I can't imagine how great it was when it first came out, but now all I can think at the end is "stop being whiny emo bitches" King Lear is so much better it's not even funny, so's Othello

romeo and juliet gets more exposure because the theme is more accessable for the masses ..

a troubled love affair .. most people could relate to that - still can.

there are still film versions of this being made all the time.
