Havent seen maany...heres what I'm familiar with:

Creep - Solid entertainment, I really enjoyed it

Return of the Living Dead - One of the coolest, funniest horror movies of all time. Dont bother with Part II though.

Wishmaster - Pretty fun slasher...great kills and a really cool concept. It has its flaws, but it's enjoyable.

I will say in my opinion whether its one to rent or buy.

2000 Manics - Rent or Buy.
Cave - Rent.
Creep - Rent.
Demons - Rent.
The lost boys - Buy.
Return of the Living Dead - Rent or Buy.
Shivers - Rent.
The People Under the Stairs - Rent.
Wishmaster - Rent or Buy. Never buy any of the sequels though.

i know - some folks like it (which is why i put in a disclaimer)
but i absolutely hated it when i saw it.

i expected something of wes cravens (then) caliber .. and got some cheap ass direct to video amateurish joke instead. (or thats how i felt at the time)

Didn't like it one bit either. The thing with Craven is that he is a really inconsistent director, and you never know if his next movie is going to be a masterpiece or a third-rate movie!

well, this one he 'presented'
i dont believe he directed it.

which made me avoid any film since that starts with 'wes craven presents:'
