ARRR mi mateys hello!

...And no I'm not a pirate, I just speak like this to get attention

But hello! My name is TJ and I guess I'm still a newbie in horror. Recently I've become very addicted about jumpscares whether I experience them in games, movies or in real life (my house makes a lot of weird noises at nights lol).

And just for the fun I'm going to ask you a question! Have you ever had that moment where you had to pause the movie/game/something else because it was just too scary? I had that moment (moments actually) when I watched The Grudge film series. That woman is just way too scary

Hello & welcome.

I've never paused anything, but I have watched a couple of movies with my eyes slightly covered when things get too scary.

Welcome to the forum, not a pirate!

I dunno if I ever paused a movie for being to scary (much respect btw for admitting that, it's not easy saying you're afraid), not to memory have I anyway. Most anything I watch I'm multi-tasking, be it drawing or browsing the internet, so chances are that might keep me from getting too into a movie to get afraid if that were ever going to happen. Sometimes when it comes to certain things like glass and razors and getting cut with them, I cringe and look away to break my focus of the movie and kinda remind myself ''it's just a movie it's just a movie''. Still can't watch all of Hellraiser II because of that one scene... After I hear it's over though I'm just fine for the rest of it.
