Well first of all, who exactly is doing it? Who's going to be in it? Is it straight to dvd or what? That alone can tell you what I think about it... ;)
However, if it WERE to be Craven, and were to be released in theatres (maybe even possibly just to dvd) and had a good cast, decent story... I'd totally see it... If it's a horror movie, I'll watch it, just to give my honest opinion, no matter how bad of an idea I thunk it to be... sometimes I'm amazed other times, not so much... I'm a big fan of "I've never seen the movie but I'm gonna buy it, if it sucks, well then I pawn it off or bring it to EB games".... yah... I'd really just have to wait n see....
