I'm not sure where you're getting the title "Fair Haired Child." Not from this year's Horror fest, nor the previous years - though it sounds like a Masters of Horror episode.

I actually started a thread about this year's Fest complete with reviews when the boyfriend and I were attempting to see them all in the theater:

We only got to see 5 of the 8, unfortunately. Of them, I highly recommend Autopsy.

The ones we saw (and how I rated them):

• Autopsy - 4.5/5
• Slaughter - 2.75/5 (though the more I think about it, the more I appreciate the character piece)
• The Broken - 2.5/5
• Voices - 4.5/5
• Perkins' 14 - 1.25/5

Upon further consideration, I think I'd rate Perkin's 14 with a 1, and Voices with a 4. Perkins' was abysmal and Voices was good, but not necessarily great. Autopsy was fantastic splatter, though.
