It's a toss-up between Christopher Lee and Donald Pleasance for me. Pleasance's performance in Raw Meat was great.

It's all a matter of taste, right? They all have their moments, but I gotta go with Bela Lugosi. There's also a great biography about him by Arthur Lenning that's been out six months or so. Check it out. I also like Lon Chaney, Jr as Larry Talbot in the Wolfman, though. And what about Barabara Steele---easily my favorite actress in the genre.
Too bad David Warbeck didn't make more genre fodder. Raw Meat does rock, by the way. And speaking of Steve Railsback, ever see him put that game rooster's head in his mouth and blow on it in Cockfighter? I guess that's method acting. Last edited by Dr.Kelvinstein; 08-02-2004 at 02:56 PM.
