Inseminoid

This was a pretty wierd sci fi horror flick. This chick gets inseminated with alien sperm then she gets super human strangth and kills the rest of the crew. I got a few good cheesy laughs out of it.

6.5/10

Zero in and scream

It was mainly just people naked getting it on, generally in the pool, then the killer would strike. The motives were not explained, no character back ground at all, yet it was still somewhat disturbing.

6.5/10

The Descent 2.

Decent flick despite the other reviews I've read. Definitely stepped up on the gore factor, but obviously not near as good as the first. Worth a watch though.

Whip It.

I was looking forward to it because I have to admit I was a roller derby fan as a kid, but the script was trite and predictable. A real letdown.

Aside from the story, it was immense fun to watch Norton in 2 completely different role at the same time.

The Strange Vice Of Mrs. Wardh aka Next!
(1971)

Oh! My first Sergio Martino Giallo. Almost forgetting the suspense & stylish razor blade body counts, cause ravishing & unearthly beautiful Edwige Fenech seized all my attention from start to finish. :o

The Case of the Scorpion's Tail (1971)

Besides some loose ends this is another fantastic Giallo piece from Martino, and this time Anita Strindberg.:o

Oh, and there may have been some absolutely brilliant camera work in there somewhere as well. Not a happy happy joy joy flick, this exploration of human nature will likely leave you emotionally exhausted, drained really, and a little less likely to fall for the next act of altruism that comes your way. This wonderfully dark flick perfectly expounds upon man's exploitative nature, especially when someone has something over another individual. Who hasn't used a tidbit of info over another to exact what they want? The acting was superb, with Nicole Kidman of course being astounding. She was in good company. The story and direction was magnificent-thank you Lars. Merci beaucoup.

Reservoir Dogs. This Tarantino classic again did not suck. This wicked little flick concerns the after effects of a botched crime. The beauty is that we really never get to see the crime itself, only the after effects, leaving the viewer drooling to see what happened. The dialogue was awesome, as is usual for Tarantino film, and the opening scene only draws the viewer in with one of the greatest diner scenes ever (Pulp Fiction rates up there with incredible diner scenes). The acting itself was strong, with Michael Madsen's psycho dance being wonderfully sick. Once you have been drawn in, instead of watching a movie, the viewer becomes ensconced within it until that supremely climactic ending. With great violence, intrigue, and paranoia, this magnificent Tarantino entry should be on every one's "see once a year" list. Merci beaucoup.
