concert goers nd hearing loss.

Ive been to quite a few concerts this year, sometimes maybe twice a month, every time I come back my ears ring for about a day or so. I know this is a sign of permanent hearing loss, but does anyone know how much it takes for it to make a solid difference? i cant find out on google. How many shows per month/year do you think a normal person can withstand and still be ok with?
elvis, i know you're in a band, how often you play, do you wear plugs, do you notice a difference in your hearing?

I go to concerts quite a bit and my ears ring for awhile too but I haven't really noticed a difference with the exception of the day after (especially when I see bands like Behemoth and Suicide Silence). Infact I just had a physical and they checked my hearing and said it was above average.... so go figure...

At least once a week for practice (crammed in a small room) then gigs on top of that. I don't wear earplugs, haven't noticed any difference in my hearing.
