Don't get why horror ppl mostly listen to heavy or old shit, lulz.

I'm into rap for example, I bet there's no one here listening to that.

Atm, I'm listening to Section80 and some old Ice Cube.

A lot of older music is fantastic, so much more emotion and heart to it. Also most of the people on here are older so to them its not really old stuff. I dont really listen to heavy metal and i dont really listen to rap either. I'm more into rock and grunge.

Rap is one of my favorite genres, the good stuff is just hard to find amid all the gratuitous shit. With the proper writer rap can be fantastic, but it seems like the only thing rappers want to rap about these days is how cool it is to be a rapper, which I can't relate to at all.

Some of my faves are:

Jamie T
Buck 65
Aesop Rock
Wu Tang Clan
RZA

Do you like either of these tunes?

Cool tune, man. Glad to finally find someone who appreciates Jamie T. I tried showing a few of my friends his tunes, and they just looked at me like I was retarded, haha.

I'm curious what you think of this song seeing as how we seem to have a similar taste in music. This song has some of my favorite lyrics ever in it:

"We went to new york city in September.
Took the train out of Manhattan to the grand army stop.
found that bench we'd sat together on a thousand years ago
when i felt such love for you i thought my heart was gonna pop.
i wanted you to love me like you used to do."

Pure gold! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YRWzxYS_nM
